This is a striking collection, featuring 130 broadsides created by poets and book artists in solidarity with those killed and injured in a 2007 bombing of Al-Mutanabbi Street, Baghdad's famed street of booksellers and the center of Iraqi intellectual life.

With the intention of showing the Iraqi Arts Community that our collective cultural voice cannot and will not be silenced, and representing the 30 people killed and 100 injured, The broadsides are traveling the world to various venues highlighting the project and raising funds for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders.

Closing date: Sunday July 31st

Location:
Gallery 31
The Corcoran College of Art and Design
